Itinerary

<span> Day 1</span> Arrival in Luang Prabang

Welcome to Luang Prabang! Upon your arrival, you'll be warmly welcomed by our guide at the airport, who will then transfer you to your hotel. After a brief rest, your adventure begins with a visit to Mount Phousi to witness a stunning sunset. Following this breathtaking experience, if the weather permits, explore the vibrant night market located at the base of the mountain. Enjoy some time browsing through the market before heading back to your hotel for the night.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will collect you for a day of exploring Luang Prabang's remarkable temples and Buddhist culture. Begin with a visit to the stunning Royal Palace Museum. Following this, embark on a relaxing cruise up the Mekong River to the Pak Ou Caves. En route, make a short stop at Ban Xang Hai village to sample locally produced whiskey made from white sticky rice. Continue to Ban Xang Khong village, renowned for its traditional Saa Jute paper-making, before returning to the city. In the afternoon, explore Wat Mai Temple and Wat Siphouthabath to gain insight into the daily lives of local monks.

For an early start, wake up around 05:30 to witness the traditional alms-giving ceremony. Next, head to the morning Phousi Market to experience the local way of life. Return to the hotel for breakfast before heading out to explore some Lao minority villages, starting with Ban Ouay. From there, travel to the stunning Khouang Si Waterfalls, renowned as one of Southeast Asia's top natural attractions. On the way back to Luang Prabang, make a brief stop at Ban Phanom village. Conclude your day with a visit to Wat Xieng Thong as part of your city tour.
