Luang Prabang offers an array of cultural treasures. Today, we’ll explore the Royal Palace Museum, Wat Mai, and Wat Xieng Thong. In the afternoon, we’ll journey to the renowned Kuang Si waterfalls, where you can take a refreshing swim and capture some amazing photos. In the evening, you can stroll through the town’s bustling night market, sampling delicious local cuisine and honing your bargaining skills.

For those who enjoy early mornings, you’ll have the chance to witness the ancient tradition of Sai Bat, where locals present food offerings to monks during their morning alms procession. After breakfast, we’ll head to a nearby rice farm to gain insight into the life of farmers who cultivate Asia’s most important crop. In the afternoon, we’ll hike up to the pagoda on Mt. Phousi to take in breathtaking sunset views from the summit, before descending to spend our last evening in Luang Prabang.

Today, we journey south to Vang Vieng in our private vehicle. Upon arrival, we’ll take a picturesque drive through the surrounding rice paddies, making our way to one of the region’s famous blue lagoons—don’t forget your swimwear! After a refreshing swim, we’ll explore Vang Vieng’s vibrant nightlife scene.

The region around Vang Vieng is home to many caves, and today we’ll visit several, including a stop to go tubing through the Tham Nam water cave. Afterward, we’ll head to the Nam Song River for an exciting tubing experience. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon floating downstream along the same route that made Laos a must-visit destination for backpackers.

Enjoy a relaxed morning with some free time before we set off towards Vientiane, the capital city of Laos. Once there, take some time to explore the nearby area, and later, we’ll head to one of the local beer shops for an evening out. You’ll get a taste of the city’s nightlife, complete with music, good vibes, and drinks for those interested—a perfect way to spend the night in the capital.

Today, we’ll explore some of Vientiane’s key landmarks, starting with the iconic Patuxai—Vientiane’s version of the Arc de Triomphe, constructed from concrete originally funded by the USA for an airport project. We’ll also visit Buddha Park and Pha That Luang, one of Laos' most renowned Buddhist temples.

For those concluding their 7-Day Laos Explorer tour, this marks the end of the journey, and it’s time to bid farewell. Our guide will be available to assist with any onward travel arrangements.
